Process Control Equipment Sensors

Process Control Equipment Sensors Gill non-contact position and level sensors are ideal for process control systems, where repeat operations and mechanical movements make other types of 'contacting' sensors unsuitable.

Operating environments can prove to be harsh, with sensors having to withstand high vibration and temperature levels, as well as some very aggressive cleaning agents. All Gill sensors have been designed with this type of environment in mind, making them the preferred choice for a number of process control applications.

Non-Contact Position Sensors

Non-Contact Position Sensors

Gill position sensors are ideal for process control applications. Their small size and configurable measurement ranges make them suitable for a wide range of processes. There is no contact between the sensor and the moving part so the sensor will not wear out through use (particularly suitable for repeat process monitoring).

The sensors are sealed to IP67 and have been designed using materials that will withstand grease, oil and aggressive cleaning fluids. Available for both linear and rotary measurements, the sensors are ideal for process control applications such as conveyor position and robotic arm angle and position.

Liquid Level Sensors

Liquid Level Sensors

Gill liquid level sensors use capacitive technology to detect the level of most liquids, with accuracy as high as 0.5% of the liquid depth. Compatible with water, oil, fuel and ink as well as some more specialist fluids, the sensors are available in two formats:

M-Series Liquid Level Sensors
M-Series sensors are fully custom designed to your requirements. M-Series sensors tend to be the preferred choice for process control applications due to our ability to design them to fit within the tightest of spaces.

R-Series Liquid Level Sensors
The R-Series is our standard level sensor design, available at any length. The sensor has an SAE 5-Bolt flange mount and is well suited to the measurement of large tanks where space is not at as much of a premium.
