The Gill R-Series sensor has been designed for fuel, oil or biofuel medium, and utilises selected features from the more advanced M-Series range of sensors. The sensor is equipped as standard with an SAE 5-bolt mounting pattern. Other features include fully integrated electronics and predetermined sensor length options avoiding the need for any mechanical adjustment by the customer.

Sensor Service Unit

The portable Sensor Service Unit is light and compact and useable with any Gill liquid level sensor. The minimum and maximum liquid level is set using the simple user interface provided via the graphical LCD display and push buttons. The sensor will then be calibrated to provide a highly accurate linear analogue output between these points. The liquid level voltage can also be displayed in real time enabling the user to easily check the settings are correct.

The Rod Position Sensor is ideal for applications where a very small change in position needs to be monitored (typically brake pad wear monitoring). The sensor is designed with a very low height profile and no internal moving parts, detecting up to 8mm of linear movement, with no physical contact between the sensor and the sensed part.

The Drain Plug Sensor is a dual channel device that can detect the quantity and type of metallic debris deposited on the sensor from within the oil. Used in either engine or transmission applications, this data can save time and unnecessary strip downs, especially in locations where access is difficult.
