Gill fuel level sensors utilise solid-state capacitive technology to detect the level of gasoline, petroleum,
jet fuel and other fuel types and grades.
Custom Built
Each fuel level sensor is designed and manufactured for the application in which it will be used, whether an R-Series or Rxl sensor built to your custom length requirement, or a fully custom-designed M-Series fuel level sensor designed and built to your specification.
Factory Calibrated
All Gill level sensors are factory calibrated in the fuel type with which they will be used (or equivalent) and have the ability to store up to 12 individual fuel calibration files within the sensor memory. This feature is particularly useful where more than one fuel type will be used (regularly experienced in motorsport and lab testing applications). Gill 'ProbeMON' or 'ProbeVIEW' calibration software is also provided to allow re-calibration by the user at a later date.
Unique Installations
Sensors can be designed for pressurised tanks, full submersion, inverted or angled installations, fast response rates, damped response (useful where a high amount of
fuel slosh is experienced) and other more specialist installations.
Fully Configurable
Each sensor will offer a fully configurable 0-5V analogue output, which is typically factory calibrated to read 0.25V empty, 4.75V full. This output is compatible with most motorsport and industrial data loggers and displays. For customers who do not currently have a compatible system, we can offer a digital fuel level gauge, which is calibrated to match the output of the sensor.
Gill fuel level sensors are used extensively in harsh environments and in applications that demand precise, reliable measurement of the fuel level.
