Capacitive Level Sensors

Gill Sensors offer the largest range of capacitive level sensor products available in the market today. All sensors use the established capacitance principle to accurately sense the level of liquid, with no moving parts to jam, break or wear out. Our capacitive level sensors are divided into ranges: M-Series custom sensors and R-Series standard sensors. Please see below for further details.

Gill capacitive level sensors are available for the following liquids:

M-Series capacitive level sensors are custom designed to your exact requirements. We have vast experience designing and manufacturing custom capacitive liquid level sensors, supplying sensors into high-technology applications where standard off-the-shelf solutions are not suitable. We can design capacitive level sensors for fuel, oil and water, as well as a number of more specialist liquid applications.

All M-Series capacitive level sensors provide a fully configurable 0-5V analogue output (typically calibrated 0.25V empty, 4.75V full) and are supplied with free calibration software to allow for reconfiguration by the user, if required. The R-Series capacitive level sensor is our standard sensor design, with a standard SAE 5-bolt flange mount and fully integrated electronics. Each sensor is built to your exact length requirements, avoiding the need for any mechanical adjustment prior to installation. The sensor electronics are housed in the sensor flange, with no additional bulky external conditioning electronic modules.

The R-Series sensor is available in either aluminium or stainless-steel constructions, and an 'Rxl' variant has been introduced for sensor lengths over 500mm long (with extra mechanical strengthening features for the longer length probe.
