Gill bio-fuel level sensors are designed specifically for use with ethanol (E10, E50, E85, E100), methanol and other similar fuels. The sensors use capacitive technology with no moving parts and are used extensively in motorsport applications (predominantly IRL, Aus V8 and LMS/ALMS).
R-Series and Rxl sensors feature a standard SAE 5-bolt mounting pattern and are manufactured to your exact length requirement. For applications that cannot accommodate the R-Series or Rxl sensors (either due to the size, weight or mounting arrangement), we can design and supply full-custom M-Series sensors, which are built to your specification. Unlike most liquid level sensors, Gill M-Series sensors can be fully submerged in these aggressive fuels.

All sensors utilise advanced capacitive technology to measure fuel depth in real-time. Each sensor is calibrated at the factory in the specified bio-fuel type, and features on-board memory for storage of multiple calibration files for different fuel types.
A fully-configurable 0-5V analogue output is provided, which will interface with most industry-standard loggers and displays.
