The Gill R-Series level sensor is our standard sensor design, available for fuel, oil, biofuel or water medium. This sensor is equipped as standard with an SAE 5-bolt mounting pattern, common with the aperture in FIA Motorsport fuel cells.

The R-Series sensor is a solid-state capacitive device and is offered with standard features such as integral electronics, low flange height profile and side exit fully sealed cable. The sensors are manufactured to the required length, avoiding the need for any mechanical adjustment by the customer. For sensor lengths above 500mm we offer the Rxl variant of this sensor, which has additional features to support the long probe length. A support boss is also available for Rxl sensors, recommended for use where the tip of the sensor is unsupported in applications with extreme vibration levels (powerboats etc). A stainless Steel variant is also available for water, salt water and hot water/glycol applications.
