UAV Miniature HT Ignition Coils

New Single and Double Ended UAV Ignition Coils

Development has started on a range of a miniature inductive ignition coils, specifically designed for the Small Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (SUAV/SUAS) market.

The miniature range includes two new constructions – double ended and single ended, weighing 140g and 55g respectively. Both ignition coils have been undergoing field trials with a specialist UAV engine manufacturer operating on a 3.5hp engine. Gill is planning a pre-sales launch at AUVSI Unmanned Systems North America, in August 2011.

The proposed specifications and dimensions of the two coils are indicated below – specifications are subject to change ahead of launch and we welcome your feedback on the proposed design and specifications.
