|
We have also recently developed our new Ultrasonic Flow Sensor, intended for on-car oil flow correlation with engine dynamometer performance. The new flow sensor is also anticipated to be compatible with water flow applications and, due to its performance and compact size, should prove to be a significant diagnostic tool for engine development engineers. The Gill Ultrasonic Flow Sensor will be launched at the end of 2008 with expected sales to begin March’09. |
The flow sensor will be displayed alongside Gill’s range of sensors at Professional Motorsport World Expo (Germany) on 11th-13th November 2008, Performance Racing Industry Show (USA) on 11th-13th December 2008 and Autosport Engineering (UK) on 8th-11th January 2009. More details soon.

New Level Sensor Product Gallery and 'Liquid Type' Category Pages |
| |
Due to the vast range of different level sensor designs that we have produced to date, we have found it necessary to split the 'generic' product page on this website into the key liquid types. This has been done to help you find relevant information quickly and easily without having to work through other information that may not be relevant to you.
You can now view suitable level sensors for most common liquid types:
- Fuel Level Sensors (Petroleum, Gasoline, JetA)
- Oil Level Sensors (Engine Oil, Diesel, Kerosine)
- Bio-Fuel Level Sensors (Ethanol E10, E50, E85, Methanol)
- Water Level Sensors (Water, Salt Water, Coolant, Brake Fluid)
- Other Level Sensors (Ink, LAB, Adblue)
We have also created a product gallery to help illustrate the broad scope of designs available. Again, you can view sensors by liquid type or view all categories. Please click below to view the gallery.

R-Series Liquid Level Sensor |
Following the success of the Gill Motorsport liquid level sensor used predominantly by leading Formula One teams, Gill have embarked upon a program of works to develop a ‘mid-range’ version aimed at the wider motorsport market.
As opposed to the current custom-made version, the R-series will have a standard SAE flange and will be available in a range of shaft lengths. The R-series will continue to demonstrate the inherent qualities of the current solid-state capacitive sensor and represent a cost-effective offering that will appeal to users seeking a reliable, accurate solution.
